The files in this directory are offered by the F.D.+ E. committee members as a set of example files for the construction of web based material fatigue property databases. They are meant to be used for information and research purposes only, not for design.

- Test for data in this folder were done on an MTS 442 controller and a test frame with a Wood's metal type grip. Hysteresis loops were recorded on an X-Y plotter, and stress-strain response on a strip chart recorder. The hysteresis loop were digitized (1999) by photo-copy and reducing the XY plots, scanning the copy into a computer displayable file, and then "clicking" along the stress-strain paths of the loops on a screen displayed picture file (and are a little rough in spots). Here is the file used to digitize loops for test_3-3 as an example. The present data is derived from the original tests done for the paper:
